World Cup Group A
All four countries in this group will now have hosted FIFA World Cups - South Africa (um, this one), France (1998), Mexico (1986), and Uruguay (1930). Impress all your football loving friends with this riveting factoid!

World Cup Group B
A very tough group with Argentina and Nigeria the favourites to advance but South Korea and Greece both capable of upsetting on the day.

World Cup Group C
A soft group led by England, who should advance easily, at the expense of Slovenia, Algeria, and the USA, who are likely to snatch the second qualifying berth.

World Cup Group D
Germany are the seeded team in an unenviable group that features quality teams: Australia, Serbia, and Ghana, who could well lock up the runner-up spot here.

World Cup Group E
Holland will be hard to stop in a relatively non-threatening group that also contains Cameroon, Denmark, and Japan.

World Cup Group F
Italy's group is softer than gelato left in the sun. They will have to (somehow) beat New Zealand, Paraguay, and Slovakia, who are like Australia, Uruguay, and Slovenia only worse.

World Cup Group G
The 2010 Group of Death. Every tournament has one and poor North Korea will be only too happy to return home to the loving embrace of Kim Jong-il after the reamings they'll receive from Brazil, Ivory Coast, and Portugal.

World Cup Group H
You know Spain will tank at some point (because they always do) but it won't be against the cupcakes they'll face here. Either Switzerland, Honduras, or Chile will count themselves blessed to get to the last 16.
