If you are just starting out as a roulette player then you may wish to
utilize a betting system to help you along the way. The problem is that some of
the more established systems are quite hard to wrap your head around if you are
not 100% familiar with the rules of roulette. Furthermore, many of these systems
only become profitable if you are willing to bet big.
So what happens if you have a smaller bankroll but still want to use a
roulette system?
The 2 Up 2 Down system is a very simple, yet effective, roulette system that
has been developed with new roulette players in mind. Like most roulette
systems, it has been developed to be used on even-money bets - Odd/Even,
High/Low, Red/Black.
The Sequence
The 2 Up 2 Down sequence is much less complicated than a system like the
Fibonacci system. The sequence you will work with is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
How it Works
The first thing that you need to do is to start your betting at 1 unit. This
1 unit can be anything from 50c to €100 - it all depends on what your bankroll
is. For the purpose of this example we will make 1 unit equal to €1.
You will bet €1 until you lose two consecutive spins. Once you lose two in a
row, you will then up your bet to €2. This will continue until you either win
two consecutive bets (after which you will go back to €1) or you lose two
consecutive bets (after which you will increase your bet to €3).
Example: If you win two bets in a row of €5 then your next bet should be €4 -
you win two in a row and you move one back in the sequence.
After the Sequence
If you reach the end of the sequence then you can either start the sequence
again or progress with a sequence of 6, 8, 10. As long as you keep to the 2 Up 2
Down rule then it will not complicate things.
The Up-Side to the System
This system is perfect if you are just starting out at roulette and you are
still finding your feet. It is also perfect if you are only willing to play with
a smaller bankroll. The system is also open enough to allow you to either start
from the beginning or move onto the 6, 8, 10 sequence once you reach 5. Once you
are more comfortable with this system then you can try one of the more advanced
systems.
