The Pivot system is one of the newer roulette systems that are available to
help players up their odds of winning. While some of the more established
systems adhere to very strict mathematical principles and algorithms, the newer
systems tend to be a lot looser in terms of how they operate.
The Pivot system is just one of these systems that relies more on luck than
sound mathematics. However, many roulette players of all levels swear by this
system so there has to be something to it.
Using this system, you actually make up your own numbers - unlike more
complicated systems like the Fibonacci system where there is a set number
sequence to work from.
How you Make up the Numbers
If you use the Pivot system then you need to spend time at a roulette table
without actually playing. You can do this at most online casinos. You then have
to write down all the numbers that the ball lands on.
For example, you watch the roulette wheel and the numbers that land are 18,
22, 1, 23, 19, 17, 4, 7, 23. As soon as you see a number come up twice (in this
case, it is 23), that becomes your pivot number.
The number that you choose will be the number you place your first bet on.
How You Play Your Pivot Number
The number (23) that you have chosen will act as your betting number for 36
spins in a row. However, if you win on one of these spins then you stop playing
and start the exercise over again. The key is to bet the same amount on every
spin. If your number comes up quite soon in the 36 spins then you will make a
substantial profit seeing as though this type of betting pays 35:1.
The Up-side to this System
Overall, this is quite a fun way to use luck as a system of winning. The fact
remains that there is as much chance of the ball landing on one number as there
is any another, so if you are set on betting on single numbers at least this
gives you a framework to work within.
The system also dictates that you bet the same amount each time. This allows
you to minimize the chances of you losing your bankroll too fast and also gives
you a level of discipline.
The Pivot system is also one of the only systems that does not use the
even-money bets. This differentiates the system in both its betting technique as
well as in its flexibility.
