If you think American football is only popular in the United States and Canada,
you may be very surprised to learn that a growing number of punters in the UK
are wagering on the sport, which is why so many top-rated UK sportsbooks offer
American football betting lines and odds these days.
In fact, today (Thursday, November 24), William Hill has compiled a range of
special American football betting lines to coincide with Thanksgiving, the
uniquely American holiday where everyone gives thanks for everything good in
their lives (including American football and online sportsbooks).
Called the Thanksgiving Bet Bundle, William Hill has compiled some action-packed
Thanksgiving NFL specials for the three NFL games scheduled for this
evening - Green Bay Packers @ Detroit Lions (12:30 pm ET), Miami Dolphins @
Dallas Cowboys (4:15 pm ET) and San Francisco 49ers @ Baltimore Ravens (8:20 pm
ET).
Green Bay Packers 5/12 Favourites
As last year's Super Bowl champs, the Green Bay Packers are the -6 point
favorites (O/U 55.5) against the Detroit Lions tonight, and are expected to
dominate this game considering they are unbeaten out of 10 games this season.
Dallas Cowboys 1/3 Favourites
The Dallas Cowboys come into tonight's game with a 6-4 winning record so far
this season, unlike rivals the Miami Dolphins who have a 3-7 losing record. This
and the fact they're on the road, is why the Dolphins are the underdogs.
Baltimore Ravens 10/17 Favourites
Of all of tonight's NFL games, the matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and
the Baltimore Ravens should be the most exciting, considering both teams are
having great seasons. And even though the 49ers are two wins ahead (9-1) of the
Ravens (7-3), their home ground advantage and high level of play of late has
made them the favourites.
