Euro Millions Review
Known as Euro Lottery, Euro Millions was initially started in France, Spain
and the U.K. in 2004. It has now grown to also be played in Austria, Belgium,
Ireland, Luxemburg, Portugal and Switzerland. Millions of Euro are up for grabs
in each Friday night drawing and the cost is only €2 per line.
To participate,
players must pick five main numbers in between one and 50 and then two different
lucky star numbers from a pool nine. If all seven numbers match, then the
jackpot is won. The size of the jackpot is dependent on how many people play.
The more who do, the larger the pot. This was the first and remains the only
lottery to be played in more than one country and drawings are held in Paris
each Friday.
