Gala Coral, one of the United Kingdom's leading gaming and sports betting
companies, has confirmed that it, too, will be joining the trend of shifting its
games and brands to a mobile platform.
The announcement was made following the signing of a lucrative three year
deal with industry-great mobile software solutions provider Mfuse, which
will create a top mobile platform for the Eurobet, Gala and Coral brands during
the course of next year.
The partnership deal was a natural fusion of two very prominent companies in
the UK and European gaming markets. Mfuse boasts top customers for its mobile
software, including William Hill and Ladbrokes, while the Gala Coral group
generated revenues of nearly £2 billion in the past year with its popular
brands that include Gala Casino, Gala Bingo, Eurobet and Coral.
"Gala Coral is a pan-European business which fits well with our strategic
direction for 2009," said the Marketing Director for Mfuse, Charles Palmer. "Mfuse
already count some of the world's largest online bookmakers, including
Ladbrokes, Bet 365 and William Hill as clients. The addition of Gala Coral with
its international reputation, further enhances Mfuse's reputation in this
growing marketplace."
Mfuse will create a sports betting platform for Gala Coral in the first half
of 2009, using its top of the range technology and years of experience in the
industry. The company will then focus on creating more games for the different
Gala Coral brands.
Mfuse were the obvious choice," said the Head of New Product Development for
the Gala Coral group, Joe Coughlin. "They are the leaders in this sector by a
long way and have shown a commitment to product development that Gala Coral asks
of all its suppliers. We're very happy to be doing business with them."
