From the middle of January, poker players who frequent three of the most
popular poker sites operated by Peak Entertainment, will be able to enjoy
software provided by Playtech. Peak Entertainment announced that the three sites
- CS Casino, Sun Poker and Omni Casino - will migrate from the Cryptologic Poker
Network to Playtech's iPoker Network.
Until January 15th, players will have access to both networks, after which
they will continue to enjoy playing off Playtech's formidable poker platform.
A statement sent by Peak Entertainment to its poker affiliates said that
players would not have to open new accounts on the iPoker Network, as new
accounts will be created for them automatically. "Players will be able to
download the software and begin playing seamlessly," read the statement.
"Players' existing account balance can easily be transferred from their Crypto
account to their new Playtech account. They will have the ability to do this
directly within their account on CryptoLogic. They will have to download the new
SunPoker.com on the Playtech platform."
On December 19th last year, players and affiliates were told about the
impending migration of the three poker sites and since then things have been
working in full swing to complete the transfer by the middle of this month.
"We are very excited about the switch to Playtech for SunPoker.com,
OmniCasino.com and CSCasino.com," said Peak Entertainment to its affiliates.
"The new software provides us with even better promotions and games for your
players, in addition to the multiple currency and language features that will
help you target key geographic areas and greatly increase your conversion rates
and earnings with our program."
