Gala Coral has expanded its products to the island of Gibraltar to
create an exciting and innovative new gambling unit for the benefit of locals
and visitors alike.
The UK based gambling operator has reportedly spent £6 million in creating
the 35,000 square feet unit at the new Ocean Village complex in Gibraltar and
the industry is eagerly waiting to see the final result.
According to the company, the new gambling unit will incorporate a Gala Coral
casino, a betting shop and a state of the art 450 seater bingo hall. Spread over
two full floors, the project will also offer jackpot areas and several bars and
restaurants so that players can combine quality dining options with their
favourite gaming pastimes.
The new unit has been designed by WFC contractors and interior designers.
The Operations Director of the Gala Gaming Division, Nick Pardo said about
the new project: "This is an enormous and exciting development for Gala Coral,
bringing together for the first time our three great gaming brands - Gala
Casino, Gala Bingo and Coral betting shops to provide a first class gaming
experience."
"This latest innovation reinforces Gala Coral's aim to ensure that our
customers are offered the finest entertainment and gambling experience,"
continued Pardo. "People remain the key focus of our business. That's also why
in Gibraltar, as in the UK, we continue to support the local community, train,
develop and reward our teams and, of course, maintain a responsible approach to
gambling."
Gala Coral has been working with the Gibraltar Tourist Board to promote the
new complex and bring visitors from the UK on day trips.
