Another boost for the mobile gaming industry in the United Kingdom was
announced after Mfuse mobile gaming company said that it has signed a
three year deal with the Swedish online gambling group, Betsson.
The new service, which is set to debut in the spring of this year, will see
the London based Mfuse provide a mobile sports betting platform for Betsson -
effectively bringing one of the first mobile services to the growing
Scandinavian gambling market.
The Chief Executive Officer for Betsson, Thomas Kalita was thrilled with the
signing of the deal. He believes that Mfuse can provide the Swedish company with
the best possible technology required to deliver players the last word in mobile
sports betting.
"Following a strategic review of the market, we chose Mfuse to provide our
mobile service due to their extensive knowledge and experience in mobile
gambling technology," said Kalita. "In addition, they can provide both sports
betting and casino games, meaning we can offer a consistent mobile experience to
our customers."
Betsson, which boasts annual revenues of over $100 million, has over 120,000
active online players who are always on the lookout for additional games and
services.
"This is a landmark deal for Mfuse as we continue to execute our strategy of
expanding into the European gaming market," said the Marketing Director for
Mfuse, Charles Palmer. "Betsson is a fast growing and dynamic company that knows
how to make the mobile gambling channel a success. By working closely with the
Betsson team, we will be able to deliver exciting m-gaming products to the
Scandinavian markets."
