This year's International Casino Exhibition that took place in London last
week saw an excellent attendance by the who's who in the online gambling world,
with software companies, casino managers and operators keeping their eyes wide
open for new products and potential partnership deals.
The software provider, Wagerworks will be a difficult act to follow in 2009
with its excellent selection of new games, especially in the slots department.
Its new titles, including Battleship: Search and Destroy and Dungeons and
Dragons: Fortress of Fortunes, made a huge impression on those who attended the
ICE event and the company promised a host of new releases this year.
Microgaming went all out to make visitors feel comfortable at this year's ICE
event, including sponsoring the drinks table and even offering free massages to
those who came by its well-staffed stand! Microgaming made sure to spread the
news that it had just signed a lucrative partnership deal with the European
gambling operator, Interwetten, putting this company firmly in the spotlight in
London last week.
Microgaming also showcased its new, unique My Slots product that puts the
concept of personalized slot playing at a whole different level, prompting
independent product reviewer Foviance to say about the slot: "This product shows
what a great future lies ahead."
Another company making waves at the ICE event was Poker Controls.com. This
UK-based company has developed a wireless poker hand controller that is used
across from a regular screen but allows players to concentrate all their gaming
functions into one convenient unit.
There is no doubt that this year's ICE event showcased innovative new ideas
and allowed visitors a glimpse into what 2009 holds in store for them within the
industry.
