Following an intense marketing campaign to draw even more attention to its
excellent online gambling products, 32 Red has announced that it will be
sponsoring the Flat Jockey's Championship title in 2009.
The title is determined by the number of successful rides within the time
period of March and November on the UK racing circuit and a number of top jockey
names are already being considered for the 2009 honours.
By agreeing to sponsor the title, 32 Red is reiterating its support
for the racing industry in general, as well as its determination to "continue to
increase our marketing spend in 2009."
"32 Red is proud of our association between our online casino and the cream
of British racing," said the company's Chief Executive Officer, Ed Ware.
"Supporting the best in racing fits our casino's profile as the leading UK
casino, following our sixth consecutive Best Casino award this February."
Favourites for the title include Ryan Moore, who currently holds the Flat
Jockey's Championship title, as well as Hayley Turner, whose win could make her
the first woman holder of the title.
The commercial agency responsible for the Professional Jockey Association,
Essentially Group remarked on the 32 Red sponsorship deal. "We're thrilled to
welcome 32 Red on board as title sponsor and look forward to to developing a
successful partnership throughout the forthcoming season," said Charlie
Mitchell, speaking for the group.
"We are delighted to welcome 32Red.com as a PJA commercial partner and look
forward to establishing a long and successful working relationship together,"
said Josh Apiafi, Chief Executive of the Professional Jockeys Association.
32 Red is one of the UK's most popular gambling groups and boasts that nearly
80% of its players hail from the UK.
Its award winning online casino is licensed and regulated in Gibraltar and
the parent company is listed on the London Stock Exchange.
