Players at some of the top online gaming sites in the United Kingdom,
including Paddy Power, Stan James and William Hill, will soon be able to enjoy
several fantastic new games, thanks to a lucrative new deal signed between the
internet skill games developer, GameAccount and video game publisher, Eidos
Interactive.
The licensing deal means that GameAccount will be able to develop
skill games based on three of Eidos' game franchises.
Eidos Interactive has a particularly valuable portfolio of property,
including rights to titles such as Tomb Raider, Hitman and its soccer management
simulation, Championship Manager.
GameAccount said that development was already underway to create an online
game based on Championship Management, created along the lines of a hi-lo person
to person skilled offering.
Other games that online players should be able to enjoy at their favourite
sites include a skill based version of Battlestations: Pacific and Kane and
Lynch: Dead Men.
The games promise to incorporate superb graphics and video animations, top
the line sound effects and even footage from the original Eidos video games.
"We're very excited about the development and release of our games for these
well know Eidos brands," said the Chief Executive Officer for GameAccount, Kevin
Dale. "These franchises already have a massive and loyal following and we hope
to benefit from that brand recognition."
Blue Square, BoyleSports and Betfred players will also get to enjoy these
games, which are already in the development stage.
