PKR, an online poker room that boasts a full 3D experience, has
launched its new look. The new site promises players many new features. They
will have the latest in news, strategies, and tournaments.
One major change players will see is a slew of
new features in the MyPKR section. PKR's MyPKR section is poker's answer
to the social networking scene. Using the MyPKR, players have a full profile
including an 'about me' section and tournament rankings, status updates that
function like Facebook or Twitter updates, and a personal newsfeed to show when
friends win tournaments, update their status, or perform any other action on the
MyPKR section. Players can add and remove friends as desired.
Players can also use the software to send and
receive messages among PKR community members. The MyPKR function allows simple
access to account management tools and the cashier, as well as allowing players
to set their own privacy levels.
PKR is also adding a poker strategy resource
called 'Raise Your Game.' The 'Raise Your Game' section offers ten or more new
articles on poker strategy each week, covering tournaments, ring games, sit-n-go
tournaments, and general game strategies that can be used for all different
types of poker. The articles offered will include articles by well known poker
pros and the authors of Inside Poker magazine.
Keeping in mind the social networking aspects of
the site, the 'Raise Your Game' articles will be accessible to all levels of
players for free and will include a comment area for players to discuss tips and
strategies described in the articles.
