After ending its two year sponsorship of the Aston Villa
Premiership football club, 32Red.com is moving on to sponsor the Swansea
City FC of the Football League Championship. 32Red.com will appear on the side's
shirts and will be the official sponsor of the football club.
The six figure deal will make 32Red the official online gaming
partner, and 32Red's logo will appear on both home and away shirts. The deal is
the biggest in the Swansea City FC's history.
Swansea City's Vice Chairman, Leigh Dineen, is very excited about
the deal. "It shows how far Swansea City has come. 32Red were talking to a
number of other football clubs, including some in the Premiership, about shirt
sponsorship; but we are delighted to become their chosen partners in football."
Swansea City FC are based in Wales, and play their home games at
the Liberty Stadium. The team is often referred to as 'The Swans.' The club
missed making the playoffs last year, coming in 8th in the Football
League Championship.
Dineen was particularly excited to note that 32Red has already
sponsored a Premiership team, and their sponsorship of a Championship team is a
real vote of confidence to the team.
