A marketing group has completed interesting research into the UK gambling
industry and revealed the most visible websites as identified by English
players.
One of the fastest climbers on this list has undoubtedly been William Hill
Casino, which has shot ahead of its toughest rivals, Casino.com and
Casino.co.uk to take the number three spot on the list.
William Hill Casino still remains behind Spin Palace and 888, however it was
shown that these sites are facing even tougher competition from their rival
websites.
The research examines which gambling sites dominate searches on Google.co.uk
among online users looking for information.
In June, 36% of all searches had William Hill Casino on the first page of a
Google page result, up from 34% only two months previously.
While Casino.com and Casino.co.uk appeared on page one of Google searches 42%
and 38% of the time in April, that number dropped to 35% and 30% respectively in
the June research.
60% of all searches were for 888 products, leaving the group in a clear lead,
despite its drop from 63% as shown in the April research.
Spin Palace commands 50% of the searches.
UK players made 380,000 casino related searches alone, with the word 'casino'
being the most common used at 35%.
