The 'Is it a Girl? Is it a Boy?' mystery has been solved regarding the sex of
the newborn baby of Manchester United soccer player, Wayne Rooney after
his wife, Coleen McLoughlin gave birth to a healthy baby boy this week.
Sportsbetting sites are now focusing their attention on a new wager - whether
Rooney Junior, aka as Kai Rooney, will be playing for England in later years
just like his famous dad.
Paddy Power, for example, is offering 500/1 that baby Kai will go on to play
for England.
A similar bet is being offered that the child will play for Manchester
United.
But Everton is another club that Papa Rooney played for and Paddy Power has
bets of 300/1 that Kai will play for this club in the future.
Kai Rooney's betting future is currently set as follows:
- 300/1 - Kai will play for Everton
- 500/1 - Kai will play for Manchester United
- 500/1 - Kai will play for England
- 1000/1 - Kai will play fro Liverpool
Sportsbetting sites have been enjoying enormous popularity surrounding the
offspring of sports people and celebrities in recent years. Punters have wagered
on the names that the Rooney couple would finally decide on (incidentally, not
one single bet was received on the name Kai), as well as on the names of other
celebs such David Beckham and his pouty wife Posh.
In July of this year, bets were being taken on the future tennis careers of
the newborn twins born to tennis ace Roger Federer and his wife, Mirka. The
girls, Charlene Riva and Myla Rose have impeccable genes, with their mother
being an excellent tennis player in her own right.
