Im a Celebrity Betting Action Hots Up

by Ryan D. Jaeger

Betting has started on the U.K show, I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here

Take a bunch of celebrities, lead them into the Australian outback and then set the cameras rolling. The results will be interesting, to say the least!

The UK series of I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, came back onto the screen on November 15th, and already punters are wagering on the outright winner of this reality TV show.

A quick look at those taking part this year will show that there's a great bunch of celebs out there, but the question is who will be man (or woman) enough to brace it out in the jungle until the end?

All eyes will most probably be on Sam Fox as she traipses through the jungle as a modern day Jane, and she will be joined by ex-snooker champ, Jimmy White, ex-footballer Vinnie Jones , Westlife boy toy Brian McFadden and Emmerdale's Lisa Riley, among others.

Another big celeb who is taking part for the second time running is Katie Price aka Jordan.

So who is the public rooting for?

Online sportsbetting sites are offering novelty bets on the outright winner of I'm a Celebrity, Get me Out of Here, 2009 and the odds quite interesting.

Paddy Power, for example, has posted odds of 4/1 that Jimmy White will win, while Sabrina Washington has the least chance of winning.

The odds at Paddy Power are currently as follows:

  • Jimmy White - 4/1
  • Gino Dacampo - 11/2
  • Kim Woodburn - 6/1
  • Sam Fox - 6/1
  • Lucy Benjamin - 6/1
  • George Hamilton - 8/1
  • Colin McAllister - 12/1
  • Camilla Dallerup - 12/1
  • Katie Price - 14/1
  • Stuart Manning - 14/1
  • Justin Ryan - 20/1
  • Sabrina Washington - 33/1
