The former Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Chartwell
Technology, Aideen Shortt, has left her position to join a Paddy Power
subsidiary in the role of associate director.
Shortt paid tribute to her decade long experience in the gaming industry, at
Chartwell Technology in particular, and said that it
provided her with an excellent basis for her new job with Airton Risk
Management.
Shortt will run the business sales and client development division at Airton,
a group that leverages existing trade and offers contract based risk management
to clients in a B2B setting.
"Having worked in the betting and gaming industry for 10 years I know that
the Paddy Power group is smart, innovative and forward thinking, and this risk
management division is evidence of all those elements," said Shortt.
The dynamic Shortt has also worked for Coral Eurobet (Gala Coral), Sky Bet,
before she moved on to Chartwell Games Corporation.
"We are extremely pleased to have someone with Aideen's extensive industry
background, solid reputation and broad skill set join the team," said Rod
O'Callaghan of Airton.
"As we focus on the growth and development of our business, especially in
advance of the World Cup, Aideen will be a tremendous asset in building our
global presence and providing strong strategic guidance within this and other
new market areas for our innovative and dynamic business model," he added.
