December 4 - eGaming Review recently held its coveted EGR Awards in order to
recognize top gambling operators in the industry.
More than 900 people gathered in London in the Old Billingsgate Market to
hear who would top home top prizes in their category.
The awards were held to coincide with the first night of EGR Live, a two day
conference and exhibition which attracted gambling operators from all over the
globe.
Bwin took home the Operator of the Year Award, backing off strong competition
from rivals such as Party Gaming and Betfair.
Upon collecting the award, the UK Manager for the group, Nic Wenn said: "It's
great that Bwin has won this award after 10 years. I think Bwin have carried on
doing what Bwin have been doing, leading the way in opening new territories in
Europe and leading the technological advance in our industry."
Cashcade, owners of Foxy Bingo, won Bingo Operator of the Year, which judges
recognizing the group as the "stand out market leader at a marketing brand
level."
