When Tiger Woods smashed his brand new car into a fire hydrant on
Thanksgiving Eve, worry about his condition soon turned to heightened curiosity
over what really happened that night.
The general consensus is that his wife Elin got word (or confirmation) of the
golfing legend's illicit affairs and went after him with her nails (some say
golfing clubs). As a result, Woods fled the family home upset and disoriented
and crashed the car a little way down the road.
While sports betting sites had odds of 10/1 shortly after the accident that
Woods and his wife would divorce, those odds have been slashed to 4/1 at sites
such as Paddy Power following an official announcement by Woods yesterday on his
website.
"I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all my
heart," he wrote. "I have not been true to my values and the behaviour my family
deserves. I am not without faults and I am far short of perfect."
"Personal sins should not require press releases and problems within a family
shouldn't have to mean public confessions," wrote Woods.
Current Tiger Woods odds at Paddy Power are as follows:

Remarried.
Cost of a Settlement in case of divorce: 1/3 - under $100m; 7/4 -
$100-$500 m; 20/1 - over $500m.
