New odds for FIFA World Cup 2010 posted after fridays draw

After a dazzling draw ceremony in Cape Town on Friday night, where 32 qualifying teams were placed in 8 different groups, oddsmakers have managed to examine the placements and make predictions regarding the final outcome of the soccer tournament.

The FIFA World Cup will take place next year and sportsbetting sites are already seeing a frenzy of activity.

The draw has definitely influenced the potential outcome of the competition and the results can be seen by the odds posted at popular sportsbetting sites.

Sites such as Paddy Power believe that Spain has the chance of being the outright winners of the World Cup, posting odds at 4/1, with Brazil close behind at 5/1.

Following Spain and Brazil are England at 11/2, Argentina at 9/1 and Italy and France tying at 12/1.

Odds have also been posted regarding the stage that a particular team will be eliminated.

Odds, for example, have been posted on France being in the last 16 at 23/10 or in the quarter final at 13/5.
