The Head of Integration and Development of the Austrian based Greentube
software group, Thomas Kolbabek was pleased to announce that the company had
received eCOGRA recognition for its high standards.
A lengthy review process that took place at the group's base in Vienna showed
that Greentube had met eCOGRA's best industry practice standards.
The non-profit player protection eCOGRA (eCommerce and Online Gaming
Regulation and Assurance) said that following the full compliance review, it
could be safely said that Greentube's games portfolio and back office systems
met all the requirements set by the authority.
"Fortunately, we had already passed the European Gambling and Betting
Association standards for backgammon, which are equally stringent, and that
certainly helped prepare us for that aspect of the inspection," said Kolbabek.
"We're very pleased that we were successful in achieving the demanding eCOGRA
standards, thus vindicating the considerable investment time, energy and
resources that we have made to ensure that our systems and products meet
international best practices requirements."
Andrew Beveridge, the Chief Executive Officer of the eCommerce and Online
Gaming Regulation Assurance, welcomed Greentube to the eCOGRA family.
"Greentube is a worthy addition to our growing list of accredited and
regularly monitored software sealholders," he said, "and in addition the company
has commissioned our services to provide monthly casino payout percentage and
RNG reviews, and annual bingo and poker RNG reviews, using live data."
Greentube develops and provides skill games for a wide number of channels,
including the internet, mobile devices and iTV. The group employs over 90 people
and boasts a total of forty B2B customers.
