The eCommerce Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance (eCOGRA) group
sent a special message of congratulations to four of its Safe and Fair seal
holders.
The four operators, namely Bwin, Unibet, Party Poker and 888 Holdings, won
top titles at the eGaming Review (EGR) Awards at the beginning of this month.
"We're very proud to be associated with these well managed operations, which
have once again proved that a sincere commitment to integrity and
professionalism is good for the players, good for the business and good for the
industry," said Andrew Beveridge, the Chief Executive Officer of eCOGRA, who
sent his sincere congratulations to the four groups.
Bwin Interactive was the proud winner of the main
award of the event that took place in London.
The Austrian based Bwin won Operator of the Year, putting itself ahead of
some incredibly tough competition.
888 won the title for Casino Operator of the Year, while Party Poker came out
tops as Poker Operator of the Year.
Unibet pulled a double whammy by winning European Sports Operator of the Year
and European Live Gaming Operator of the Year.
As noted all four groups proudly carry eCOGRA's Safe and Fair seal which
essentially means that they meet the highest standards of fair play, player
protection and professionalism.
eCOGRA's mission is to protect players by addressing their need for fair
gaming and responsible operator conduct, and to inform players of their rights,
responsibilities and findings through the media.
eCOGRA also sets industry standards and acts as a mediator whenever its
services are needed.
