One of the leading software providers, the Swedish based Net Entertainment,
has introduced some changes to its award winning CasinoModule brand that
will allow the group to cater to a wider audience of online gambling players.
Net Entertainment announced that the CasinoModule is now also available in a
download version, bringing this option to players who prefer to download their
casino applications and installing them in their systems.
Until now, CasinoModule was a browser based platform that featured a superb
suite of casino games.
CasinoModule is carried by some of the top names in the industry and Net
Entertainment was proud to announce that one of its oldest partners, NordicBet,
was the first to deploy the new download version just before Christmas,
According to Net Entertainment, both versions are operated through a single
back-end, while jackpot games are shared between the browser based and download
casinos.
Partner sites will also be able to run tournaments and bonus programs across
one or both versions of the casino, catering to their specific wants and needs.
The announcement came on the back of news that Net Entertainment was upgraded
from the Nasdaq OMX Stockholm small cap list to the mid cap list.
The group was introduced on the small cap list only a year ago and the
upgrade indicates NetEnt's success.
The mid cap list is one for companies with a market of between €150
million and 1 billion.
"Net Entertainment has continued to report strong growth and profitability
during the year," said the CEO of the group, Johan Ohman. "The move to Mid Cap
is a milestone in the company's development."
