Will he or won't he?
Will Smith, the hugely successful Hollywood actor has hinted that he
may enter the world of politics.
Smith's wife, Jada Pinkett Smith said in an interview that her husband is
seriously considering the possibility of a career change and may even move from
living in Hollywood to Washington DC with his family.
"Will is thinking about going into politics," said Jada to Bunte Magazine.
"He once said he could imagine becoming a US president. He wasn't joking. He was
quite serious about it.
Paddy Power, the leading UK bookie, believes that there is a bigger chance of
Smith portraying President Barack Obama in a film about his life than of the
actor actually taking over the job for real.
Odds at Paddy Power relating to Will Smith specials are as follows:
Will Smith to play Barack Obama in a Hollywood movie by 2020 - 7/4
Will Smith to become the next Governor of California (after Arnold
Schwarzenegger) - 33/1
Will Smith to become US President at any stage in his life - 250/1
Just to complicate things further, Smith revealed last year that he would
never consider a career in politics.
"It's a whole lot more fun to be a movie star!" he said.
