It was inevitable that as soon as Katie Price (aka Jordan) and her on-off
beau Alex Reid tied the knot, the talk of a new baby for the pair would be on
the cards.
Price and Reid shocked the entertainment world when they announced their
quicky wedding in Las Vegas last week, and already there has been a flurry of
betting options available on names for a future child.
Nick Weinberg, speaking for Ladbrokes, said: "They're the Golden
Couple and we expect interest to be on par with our royal baby markets."
So what are the odds offered on potential names? If the baby is a girl, odds
of 5/1 are being offered by Ladbrokes that she will be named after Jordan's
mother, Amy. If it's a boy, the chances of it being named after Reid's dad,
Robert are also 5/1.
Other favourites are Carol (!) 6/1, Sophie at 7/1 and Daniel (7/1).
After her sensational divorce from Australian singer Peter Andre, Price
started dating cage fighter, Reid.
Price and Andre are involved in a bitter public battle over the custody
arrangements of their two children, as well as Price's 7 year old son, Harvey
from her relationship with former footballer, Dwight Yorke.
Incidentally, Ladbrokes has posted odds of 250/1 that Reid and Price will
name their son Dwight.
Her appearance in "I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here", saw Reid plan an
elaborate proposal which Reid dramatically turned down late last year.
The couple split for a while, but after Reid entered the Celebrity Big
Brother house and won the title, Jordan obviously had second thoughts about
getting rid of a personality who had become so popular and felt that it would be
worth marrying him.
