Just as we thought the dust had settled over the tawdry extra marital affair
of former English side captain, John Terry, along comes another alleged affair
that may have bookies rushing to put up odds again.
Terry's coveted armband was removed recently after he admitted to having an
affair with his teammates former partner.
The team's manager needed to do something drastic to show that a player who
did not come with a sterling reputation had no place at the head of one of the
best soccer teams in the world - certainly not in a World Cup year.
Despite a slightly brash past, Rio Ferdinand replaced Terry, as the
latter jetted off this weekend to Dubai to try and get his marriage back on
track.
However, it seems that tales of affairs don't stop coming out of the
woodwork.
A new claim by an Israeli model that she had a stag night fling with
Ferdinand on the very eve of his wedding may put a question mark over the new
captain's chances of leading the English team to South Africa.
Tslil Sela claims that she spent time with the Manchester United star while
he celebrated his last days of freedom in Tel Aviv, while his partner Rebecca
Ellison stayed home in the UK with their two year old son.
The affair allegedly took place two weeks before Ferdinand tied the knot with
Ellison last June, and the model's agent is apparently offering to tell the
story for the sum of £20,000.
