With world domination still fresh in their minds, you may forgive Barcelona thinking that this years La Liga title is all sewn up. Coming of their first loss, the teams trailing Barcelona are hoping for a dip in form that has seen Barcelona appear omni-potent in the world of football.
Barcelona should take note that Real Madrid are just 5 point behind and they still need to face each other once more this season. And with Christiano Ronaldo smashing in the goals and showing good form and no injuries. Things may be changing. If Kaka and Benzema start playing near the potential their signup fees warrant we could be in for a tasty tail-end to the La Liga season.
The odds available at the bookies have shifted ever so slightly since last weekend. However the bookies are still showing Barcelona as the odds on favourites.
This weekend we get the chance to see if Real Madrid can mount a decent challenge when Villarreal come to town. Real should win but Villereal seems to save their best for the best. Barcelona take on Racing Santander. Barcelona's game is a gimme.
