A new partnership signed between William Hill and ITV will see ITV
viewers benefit from some of the best offers presented by the leading UK
bookmaker.
The commercial TV broadcaster will see its sports fans enjoy exclusive sports
betting promotions, including in play betting.
The Chief Executive of William Hill Online, Henry Birch spoke of his
satisfaction in the closing of the new deal and said: "We're delighted to be
working in partnership with ITV and bringing our sports betting product,
particularly in play betting, to a wider audience."
An exciting campaign was launched last weekend to coincide with the FA Cup
fifth round.
The marketing drive essentially encourages sports fans to head off to a joint
promotional site, ITV.com/WilliamHill to learn more about the special offers.
Steve Chambers, the Key Account Director of ITV Commercial, which negotiated
the deal with William Hill, said: "As the home of free to air live football in
the United Kingdom, ITV is a natural brand fit with William Hill. We are really
excited about partnering with the UK's top online bookmaker."
The on-air advertising campaign promises consumers a free bet if they sign up
at William Hill Online.
Players are offered the opportunity to wager on live events, and watch
virtual horse racing and greyhound racing.
