It's not over 'til it's over'! That's what UK bookies are telling themselves
as rumours began circulating today that Cheryl Cole was due to fly out to
France to enter into talks with her estranged husband, Chelsea footballer Ashley
Cole.
After fresh news of Ashley's repeat infidelities broke last month, Cheryl
jetted off the United States and came back with a decision that she was done
with the marriage once and for all.
She told her friends that she was divorcing Ashley and would not be taking
his calls.
However, claims are now being made that the 29 year old has been texting and
calling Cheryl, begging for a second chance.
It seems now that his wife may be willing to at least hear him out as she
flies to France to meet up with him.
Ashley is recovering in a treatment centre in the South of France after
receiving an ankle injury while playing in a match last month.
Several UK bookies have already paid out on bets that offered odds on a split
between the two, so sure were they that this time it was for real.
However, if the rumours are to be believed, Cheryl has even agreed to enter
into marriage counselling sessions with her estranged husband when he returns
from France.
"She thinks he deserves to be heard and understands how he could think that
she let down as a wife," the Daily Mail quoted one source as saying. "In
essence, she is starting to accept his claim that it is not solely his fault
their marriage collapsed."
