Yet another 'tabloid cheat' has made headlines, this time the Take That star
Mark Owen, who - until now - enjoyed a squeaky clean image as the devoted
family man.
In news that shocked the world, Owens admitted that he cheated up to ten
times in the past while in a relationship with his wife Emma Ferguson, who
happens to be the mother of his two young children.
Calling himself "an idiot, a dickhead, a knobhead", Owen said that nobody
else was to blame for the affairs.
"You've got to learn and that's what I am going to do," said a contrite
Owens. "Emma is really strong and I know she will what is right for her and the
kids. I support that and I really appreciate that. She loved me - she still does
love me - and I have let her down."
Owen decided that it was time to come clean after one of his mistresses
decided to make their story public. 24 year old Nicola Hanley told a British
newspaper how she was still seeing Owen a month before his much publicized
fairytale wedding to Ferguson in October last year, and how she received a
$20,000 pay-off to end their relationship.
