Hayley Tamaddon may be the public darling and the sure-fire bookie favourite
to take home the Dancing on Ice 2010 title, but behind the scenes, she
may be triggering bitching parties.
People Magazine recently quoted unnamed fellow contestants as saying that
Tamaddon had an unfair advantage over them after she was made a stand by skater
in 2008, thus allowing her two years worth of practice.
Tamaddon and her skating partner, Daniel Whiston were also slammed for not
socializing with the other couples as much as they should.
"Hayley and Dan definitely are not popular within the group - they haven't
made much effort to get involved," said one source. "It would be fair to say
that several people dislike her, even hate her. She is the butt of a lot of
bitching sessions."
A spokesman for Dancing on Ice denied outright that Tamaddon had any real
advantage on the other contestants. "Hayley has never been a standby contestant.
She told us she has never skated before," said the spokesman.
So could it be that this is a desperate attempt by other contestants to
reduce Hayley's popularity among the public and get them to vote for others
instead?
The rumours don't seem to be worrying UK bookies such as Ladbrokes and Paddy
Power. They still have Tamaddon as the outright winner of the competition by a
long shot, and her "almost flawless' performance on Sunday made everyone
understand just why she is expected to win.
