Poker players can rely on the luck of the Irish to get them through this
week, which will see the combination of two very exciting events.
For one, the UK racing industry sees the beginning of Cheltenham Week, and -
to honour this week - Paddy Power Poker has launched Paddy's Lucky Score.
This promotion will see the rolling out a series of 'all in every hand'
tournament, with players beginning each tournament with a single chip and with
antes set at 1,000.
That means that luck plays a huge role in the success of these tournaments
for poker fans to get a hand on the great prizes being put up by the site.
"We're matching the exciting racing action on our poker tables with Paddy's
Lucky Score promotion and encouraging our players to grab the opportunity to win
big!" said the Communications Manager for Paddy Power.
"The all-in-every-hand structure will mean that poker skills are not as
important as luck - given Paddy's Day falls mid-week, I'm sure everyone will
have their shamrocks and four leaf clovers at the ready when they play Paddy's
Lucky Score!" he said.
Before and after Cheltenham racing action, Paddy Power will be hosting quick
fire tournaments.
On March 16th, for example, the site is running a Chelt Bankroll Booster at
noon , with $50 added and a buy in of $3 + 30c.
Paddy's Lucky Score Main Event will be held on Wednesday March 17th - just in
time for St. Patrick's Day, with a $10 + $1 buy in and whopping $500 money added
amount.
Paddy Power is also offering Daily Irish Open freerolls from Saturday through
to Thursday, with a special freeroll scheduled every Friday night at 8 pm.
