The Chief Executive Officer of Virtue Fusion online bingo network
group, Bob McCulloch, spoke about the future of the industry, and Virtue
Fusion's place within in.
McCulloch said that despite the fact that some groups get their identity
swallowed up when selling up to bigger operations, this will not be the case
with Virtue Fusion through its ale to Playtech.
The CEO believes that joining with Playtech will only maximize Virtue
Fusion's potential in the long run.
"We are constantly innovating to keep ahead," he said, "which is why you have
recently seen deals such as ours with Endemol and the launch of our
groundbreaking integrated social networking feature, and there are plenty more
to come. Playtech has similarly focused on innovation and the deal also brings
huge benefits to our network with the largest library of side games in the
gaming industry."
When asked what he believes is the secret to a successful online bingo
operation in the UK and around the world, McCulloch had words of wisdom to
share.
"The first is liquidity," he said, "which can only come from a very major
network of operators and users - such as the one we have built at Virtue Fusion.
This will grow even further when we combine the Playtech and Virtue Fusion Bingo
liquidity pools in the near future."
McCulloch believes that innovation is one of the keys to the success of any
online bingo operator.
"Companies are also going to have to innovate or else they will undoubtedly
be left behind," he said. "Bingo will continue to present itself as an
attractive and complementary proposition to online sports book, casino and poker
operations, and poker operators as well as land based firms too, but they need
to be presented with new and interesting products."
Virtue Fusion currently boasts over 20 licensees, including Mecca Bingo and
Ladbrokes.
