BoyleSports, one of the leading Irish bookmakers, announced this week that it
had entered into a sponsorship deal with the innovative The Betting Channel.
The deal will see BoyleSports contribute odds and markets to the
channel as a way of offering its multi-sportsbetting online service.
BoylesSports' logo will appear as part of the graphics and backdrops of The
Betting Channel, which is streamed live six days a week.
TheBettingChannel.tv was created by former Sky Sports presenter, Alan Bentley
who felt that there was a need for this type of service in the UK gaming market.
The channel streams live for two hours each day from 9 am, Tuesday to Sunday.
It examines the major global sporting events that are due to take place that day
and discusses betting opportunities.
BoyleSports will provide information about betting markets, including
in-running markets, and contribute odds.
Two of the online bookmakers' team members, Nicola McGeady and Leon Blanche
will join top journalists to provide the information to viewers.
Alan Bentley expressed his happiness at having McGready and Blanche join the
channel.
"In being able to tailor our output to benefit our partners, we believe that
we offer a prime platform for bookmakers to communicate with a large audience of
bettors and sports enthusiasts in a truly interactive way," he said.
"This is particularly the case when there's a major event to focus on, which
makes it even more exciting to have this partnership in place ahead of The
Festival in Cheltenham," he said.
