Cryptologic Signs on New Licensee

Cryptologic has signed Betsson as new licensee

Betsson Malta, the online gaming operation that trades on the Stockholm OMX, announced that it will be rolling out at least nine new games on its three sites by the end of the year.

The announcement came after Betsson signed a lucrative new deal with the Irish based Cryptologic software group which will see the latter provide some of its quality slot games to the group.

"We are confident Cryptologic's highly innovative games will enhance our customers' gaming experience and attract more demand," said the Business Area Director of Betsson, Magnus Grinneback. "We look forward to working with Cryptologic to us achieve just that."

The new games will be launched on Betsson's websites, including Casino Euro and Cherry Casino.

One is already live on Casino Euro, while the rest will be unrolled over the rest of the year.

Waterlogic, Cryptologic's subsidiary company, handles the group's licensing and branding.

"Betsson is the latest customer to sign up to Cryptologic's games, underscoring the value of our innovative and rich content brings to operators worldwide," said the Vice President of Cryptologic, Justin Thouin.

"With every new licensee Cryptologic not only expands its global reach but also strengthens its base for generating long term revenues," added Thouin.

Betsson Malta boasts a customer base that covers over 18 countries and its games and offerings are well known and respected in the industry.

Its services include sports betting, casino, poker, bingo, games, scratch cards and betting exchange.
