Manchester and Chelsea Chase Premier League Title Saturday

by Renee Israel

Manchester and Chelsea will be chasing the Premier League top spot on Saturday

Saturday's match between hosts Manchester United and Chelsea may determine who will take the Premier League title this season.

Although Manchester United is one point ahead of their rivals, a match without their star, Wayne Rooney, who is sitting out on an ankle injury, may seal their fate.

Chelsea is also coming into the game full of confidence, after they brought Aston Villa to their knees last week with a humiliating 7-1 victory.

United defender, Nemanja Vidic believes that his team can still beat Chelsea without Rooney.

"We showed this season we play as a team," he said. "It is not just about one man. Definitely Wayne Rooney has had a great season. He is unbelievable, one of the best in the world. But sometimes big players are missing, and others need to be ready."

Chelsea coach, Carlo Ancelotti is full of confidence of his team's ability to win the match.

"When we play our best attacking football, we are able to overcome any defense," he said. "It is important that we play our best football unit until the end of the season. We can make this a fantastic season if we finish in the right way."

Bookies are reporting heavy betting activity on this particular game and have offered odds on a Manchester victory of 6/4.

Odds of 11/5 on a draw are also been offered, as well as 9/5 on a Chelsea victory.

Paddy Power is offering a special bet that will refund all losing 1st/last goals scorer, correct score and score cast singles bets should United lead at any time during the match but fail to win.
