UK football fans are in for a treat as the two Manchesters meet in a match
this Saturday, April 17th.
Both teams are hungry for Premier League points and footie experts are
promising lots of action as some of the stars show off their skills on the
field.
Manchester United has met Manchester City three times this season,
winning two of the matches. However, this upper hand may not be enough to give
them a superior advantage over their rivals on Saturday.
United is not in its ultimate form, after taking a blow two weeks ago when it
was thrown out of the Champions League by Bayern Munich. This was followed by a
double whammy loss against Chelsea and then the Blackburn Rovers.
Manchester United simply cannot afford to lose this Saturday's match, in its
current position of four points behind Chelsea on the Premier League table.
City, however, is desperate to win as doing so would be one step closer to a
fourth spot in the League.
Punters should look out for goals from Rooney and Tevez, and it is worthwhile
backing them to score during the match.
Bookies have close odds on the two teams this week, with a 6/4 victory for
Manchester United and odds of 17/10 for a Manchester City win at Paddy Power.
The bookie posted odds of 12/5 on a draw.
Ladbrokes have them even closer: 6/4 on both teams winning the match and 11/5
on a draw.
