The Quail Hollow Championship 2010 opened on April 26 and is set to run until May 2. Tiger Woods is to make his first appearance in the tournament this Thursday.
Bookies are offering bets on the outright winner of the competition, with Tiger Woods a favourite to win with odds of 11/4 at Paddy Power sportsbetting.
Totesport, in the meantime, saw odds drifting for the golfer who is only playing his second tournament since he returned after a long period away from the circuit.
The group pushed Woods out to 7/2 on Monday explaining: "Although Tiger made a reasonable comeback in the Masters (tied fourth), Quail Hollow's tight track won't really suit his wayward driving and his putting at Augusta left a lot to be desired."
In the meantime, it has been reported that Woods' estranged wife, Elin is seriously considering a move to Sweden with her two children to get away from the tension between her and the shamed golfer.
According to sources "divorce is openly discussed" and Elin would like to move back to her native country in order to be among people who could give her support in this difficult time.
Odds on the outright winner of the Quail Hollow Championship at Paddy Power as follows:
Tiger Woods 11/4
Phil Mickelson 10/1
Lee Westwood 18/1
Jim Furyk 20/1
Anthony Kim 25/1
