The latest one tier gambling group to achieve the non-profit watchdog group, eCOGRA's Certified Software seal is Chartwell Technology.
The Calgary based group passed all the required tests set by eCOGRA to show that it meets its highest industry standards.
The on site testing took place in Calgary, Canada.
Chartwell Technology decided to pursue the coveted accreditation as an extension of its commitment to ensure that all its brands and products reach international standards.
"This was a good test of our development, business and control systems, and I believe we benefited from the full professional assessment and recommendations made by the eCOGRA compliance auditor on his inspection visit to our Calgary facility," said the Vice President of Software Development at Chartwell, Clinton Begin.
The testing was carried out by the Compliance Manager of eCOGRA, Shaun McCallaghan who complimented the Chartwell team for its cooperation and good organization.
"The Chartwell technical team was completely cooperative and well prepared," he said, "with all documentation and systems ready for compliance testing."
Chartwell now joins other groups at its level who have successfully applied for and received eCOGRA accreditation. These include Betfair, Victor Chandler, Stan James and Gala Coral.
The group was also congratulated by the Chief Executive of eCOGRA, Andrew Beveridge.
