William Hill PLC, the online and land based UK gambling group, has recently placed a £128,500 advertising order on Play LA Inc. Play LA Inc owns and operates a network of multi-language websites with information on gambling.
The media company reaches hundreds of thousands of users across Europe and the UK and this deal will provide William Hill with that extensive coverage.
An agreement has been reached between William Hill and Play LA in which Play LA will provide William Hill with ad placements and extensive branding across their websites in multiple languages, including English, Spanish and German.
Throughout 2010, Play LA will provide coverage that will include content on some major websites. William Hill will also be provided with a minimum number of new players from Play LA during the agreement period.
David Hallonquist, Chief Executive of Play LA said: "This advertising agreement is our largest to date, in terms of value. In addition to the placements, we will continue to earn commission n the traffic we send to William Hill."
He continued further: "Based on our 2009 earnings with William Hill, the combined value of this year's business could exceed $250,000."
Play LA promotes many bookmakers throughout its websites and William Hill is one of the top 25 of these sites.
This deal with William Hill will give Play LA presence and stature in the industry and this may, in the future, potentially lead to more corporate developments in the company.
In March 2009, Play LA listed on the OTCBB in the US. They are currently developing a French-facing website in preparation for the opening up of the French market.
