Sex and the City is one of the greatest television shows every produced, and has triggered the creation of a number of Hollywood sequels.
The author of the highly popular Sex and the City, Candace Bushnell, recently released a prequel to the series in the form of a teen novel, The Carrie Diaries.
The novel examines Carrie Bradshaw's friendships and romances as a teen high schooler and chronicles what happened in her life that eventually leads her to Manhattan.
Bushnell has completed a book tour for The Carrie Diaries, timing it perfectly with the long awaited film sequel, Sex and the City 2.
Bookies have picked up on the interest shown in the book and believe that a film or TV adaption are on the cards.
