World Cup Group D Preview.
In Group D there is plenty to play for and for me it's any two from three
with Ghana set to miss out.
I'm keen on Serbia in the outright, 66/1 in a place about the talented
Europeans in this half of the draw still looks generous, and with Germany and
Australia set to give their true running Ghana could be up against it.
Much has been made of the advantages seemingly possessed by the African
nations on their own continent but I'm keen to take on all six of them and the
Black Stars will sorely miss the inspirational Michael Essien who is ruled out
of the tournament through injury.
Ghana succumbed to Egypt in the African Nations Cup final last year but they
failed to impress along the way and I doubt whether they've the firepower to
trouble their Group D opponents.
The 2/1 with 888sport on Ghana exiting without a whimper in last place looks
one of the best bets of the group stages.
