Ever since Hollywood celeb, Lindsay Lohan learned that she will be spending 90 days in prison for violating probation on a drunk driving charge, the 24 year old has been reportedly holed up in her Los Angeles apartment, "scared to death".
Lohan is set to start her prison sentence no later than July 20th, and already bookies have opened betting markets regarding the length of time that she will actually spend locked up.
Odds of 6/4 have been offered that she will only spend 1 to 10 days in prison, while 13/8 odds have been listed on 11 to 20 days.
Lohan is being comforted by her new Israeli girlfriend, Eilat Anschel who attended court hearings with her and has been "a shoulder to cry on" in the past few weeks.
Lohan skipped her own birthday bash last night and spent the evening with a few close friends and family instead.
In the meantime, it was learned that Lohan's own defense lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley has resigned from the case.
Holley issued a statement after the sentencing, calling it "harsh and unfair", but confirmed that Lohan would abide by the court's ruling and report to jail.
Justifying her ex-client, Holley said in the statement: "The reality is that Ms. Lohan, like most defendants, had to balance work commitments with court requirements. To be punished so severely for doing so, particularly in light of the fact that she substantially complied with each of her probationary conditions, is harsh and unfair."
Many believe that Lohan is paying a "celebrity tax" by being given such a harsh sentence.
