A new biopic tracing the life and musical career of one of the UK's top rockers, Ozzy Osbourne, has already triggered betting markets.
The wagering flurry is centered around the actor who will play Black Sabbath frontman Ozzie Osbourne, with 34 year old 'Crazy Heart' star, Colin Farrell tipped to do so.
In the past, the 61 year old Osbourne has requested that the role be filled by an unknown actor from his home city of Birmingham, but it seems that Paramount Pictures and MTV Film have different ideas.
Other names in the running are Johnny Depp, Nicholas Hoult and Daniel Radcliffe.
Osbourne and his wife Sharon are said to be keen to see the rocker's life story taken to the big screen, and Sharon has spoken in the past of her desire to see Depp take the lead role.
Speculation is high that Farrell has already signed on to play Osbourne, although nobody could confirm this news.
A spokesman for the actor told one publication that the rumours were "not true", although this means nothing when it is not done on an official scale.
Odds on the actor to star as Ozzie Osbourne in the new biopic released by Paramount Pictures and MTV Films:
Colin Farrell 11/8
Johnny Depp 5/1
Nicholas Hoult 8/1
Daniel Radcliffe 10/1
Paul Dano 10/1
James/Oliver Phelps 12/1
