The FIFA 2010 World Cup is over, and South Africans are looking for the next major sporting event to entertain them.
It was an important weekend for the South African rugby team, as the Springboks faced off against the All Blacks in their home territory in Wellington in the Tri-Nations game.
While all the odds were in favour of the All Blacks taking the game, the Springboks were of course hopeful of claiming a victory over the New Zealanders, despite their loss the week before.
Bookmakers such as Paddy Power had only given the Boks an 11/5 chance of beating the All Blacks, and had granted the All Blacks 1/3 odds on.
Last week's opening match saw the Springboks defeated 32-12, and managed once again to gain a similar advantage over the South Africans by ending with a score of 31-17.
The New Zealand team was commended on their fast play due to the fact that all their tries were scored by backs. The tries were scored by Ma'a Nofu, Mils Muliaina, Rene Ranger and Israel Dagg.
The Springboks try scorers were lock Danie Roussouw and flanker Schalk Burger.
The Tri-Nations match gave rugby enthusiasts a great game, with two of the world's best teams fighting it out.
Some of the odds for the game were -
6-10 points for win by New Zealand 9/2
1-5 points win by New Zealand 9/2
11-15 points win by New Zealand 13/2
21-25 points win by New Zealand 10/1
