Chartwell Technology Incorporated has announced that it will supply the Chartwell Games Platform to power the online casino of Globet International Sports Betting Limited.
Globet is a European operator that was founded in 1995 with a business focus in central and southern Europe. They have a client base surpassing half a million customers around the world and are currently in the process of moving their gaming business from Gibraltar to the UK.
Chartwell Technology Incorporated is a Canadian software provider that was established in 1988. It specializes in the development of games, gaming systems and platforms for regulated online casinos.
Dan Phillips, Chief Executive Officer for Chartwell Games International Limited said: "Globet is an excellent addition to our client roster. Not only is it an established and respected brand with large geographical reach in our core market but it is returning to us having been a valued client that we supported from 2003 to 2006."
He continued: "It gives us a great boost of confidence when an old customer decides to return. It validates our commitment to our Chartwell Games Platform and Globet is the second tier-one operator to sign with us in the last five weeks."
Enrico Salvatori, Managing Director of Globet commented on the deal: "The decision to implement the casino from Chartwell comes from the fact that the management group considers this one of the best products in the market and one that suits Globet's business model moving forward."
Chartwell made it known that Globet would begin operating under a UK license. They expect that this strategic decision will allow for better product management and will help to increase their marketing activity.
