It's hard to miss 19-year-old Italian striker
Mario Balotelli because his skin is jet black and he has more natural talent and skill than most pro footballers, however, he is set to leave his
Serie A club for the rainy climes of England.
According to recent reports, the controversial Balotelli is poised to sign a hefty £35 million contract that will see him leave his current Serie A club and recent treble winners, Inter Milan, to join English Premier League club, Manchester City.
In fact, Manchester City officials are so eager to seal the deal that they are in Italy to finalize the details. And if all goes well, Balotelli will soon be a fixture at Eastlands, training under the watchful eye of his former boss, Roberto Mancini.
But talent and skills aside, Balotelli has proven himself to be something of a 'bratty teenager', and just like a teenager was punished on numerous occasions during his tenure in the Serie A by his then Inter Milan head coach, Jose Mourinho.
The punishment for Balotelli's various on and off-field histrionics was being left out of the squad. Who can forget when the youngster was famously left out of the second leg of a crucial Champions League game last season against Chelsea?
But equally memorable was Balotelli's on-field tantrum after the Champions League semi-final first leg against Barcelona, when he threw his Inter Milan shirt on the ground in disgust, which not only upset Inter fans, but his teammates too.
However, obviously Mancini has seen past Balotelli's childish antics and believes he can groom him to become one of Manchester City's most effective players. For Serie A fans though, its debatable whether they'll miss Balotelli or not.
