The musical comedy series, Glee, which airs on Fox in the United States, has earned itself a near cult following around the world.
The series, which focuses on the high school choir, has recently been renewed for a second season, and media attention is at an all time high as Glee fans count down the days until September 21, when the show returns to the screen.
It has already been announced that Glee will pick up for a third season.
This award winning show has also triggered the opening of betting markets around the world, including in the United Kingdom, where there is a strong following for the antics of the high school students and other characters in the show.
UK bookies are taking bets, for example, on the first actor to quit or get sacked from the show.
The favourite in this field is Mark Palling who plays Puck at 9/4, followed by Diana Agron (3/1) who plays Quinn.
Odds on the next Glee star to go solo lie at evens for Amber Riley, who will sing the national anthem at the 2010 Major League Baseball All Star game on her own this year.
Last year, the entire cast of Glee sang the national anthem at the World Series.
Another favourite to go solo is Kevin McHale at odds of 3/1.
