If anyone believed that it was preferable to stay away from online gambling sites on Friday 13th, the following story should put an end to their superstitious beliefs for good.
A player from London decided to play the progressive slot game, Mega Moolah Isis at Ladbrokes Casino on the very day that bad luck is supposed to rule.
However, the player proved everyone wrong by bagging a massive £75,000 when he played the slot game.
Ladbrokes has been the scene of several great wins these past months.
Another Londoner, known only as Mr. S, grabbed £88,341 on the same game only last month, beating the latest win by £10K.
"A £75,000 win on Friday the 13th is amazing," said the Head of Marketing at Ladbrokes Casino, Charlie Goodenough. "It just goes to show that this day can be lucky for some!"
"We have had so many big winners in the last few months that 2010 is starting to look very good for our customers," said Goodenough. "So much so that it would not surprise me if someone scooped the £4 million on Mega Moolah soon."
The manager was referring to Mega Moolah's massive progressive jackpot that is simply begging to be won, and players are definitely giving it all they've got to get their hands on this amazing prize.
Ladbrokes recently ran a one day prize draw promotion, where players had the chance of winning up to 50 free chips for playing Mega Moolah Isis.
Another jackpot worth keeping an eye on is the one linked to King Cashalot, with a sum of £750,000 currently up for grabs.
